Oscar® Qualifying Shorts Competition
Every weekday at 5pm, starting November 8, our theaters will offer a selection of shorts for $5! These Narrative and Documentary films come from all over the world and display the remarkable diversity of storytelling in the films selected for SLIFF33.
There are also several Shorts Programs on the weekends and those are also just $5.
SLIFF’s Shorts program is one of 182 Oscar® Qualifying Festival Competitions. Short films that win the Best of Fest, Best Animated, Best Documentary, and Best Live Action awards are eligible for Academy® nominations for the 98th Academy Awards in 2025.
